The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office has received a donation for its K9 program.
The State Bank of Chilton recently donated $2,500 to the program, which is designed to help keep the community safe.
The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office established its K9 program in 2016 thanks to generous donations from individuals and businesses in the area.
Since then, the program has expanded to include two K9 officers, K9 Alek in 2021 and K9 Rex in 2025.
The Department noted, “Together, our K9 Unit has taken many illegal drugs off the streets in an effort to keep our community safe. Our K9’s have also been a further asset to our area by visiting schools, businesses, and other civic organizations. We are proud of our K9 Unit and the impact they have had in our community.”
