The Marquette Golden Eagles will play Kansas State next season, meeting the Wildcats for the first time in 30 years. Milwaukee native Bruce Weber coaches a K-S-U squad expected to be an N-C-A-A tournament team after reaching the Elite Eight last March. Eagles coach Steve Wojchiechowski says his team’s non-conference schedule is shaping up to be the most-challenging one since he’s been at Marquette. The K-State meeting is a home-and-home, with the Wildcats playing at the new Wisconsin Sports and Entertainment Center December 1st. Marquette travels to Kansas next season. The Golden Eagles are also signed up for the Pre-season N-I-T in November.
