The Fort Atkinson man who was shot and killed by Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office deputies has been identified as 41-year-old Nathan Poulakos.
He led police on a chase starting in Jefferson County and ending when he crashed into a fence at a farm off of Highway 67.
Poulakos was wanted in Jefferson County on warrants in two theft by contractor cases.
The sheriff’s office says he displayed a gun during the chase and adds there is no video of the shooting.
