Community info sessions held in Sheboygan last week were very well attended.
Taylor Zeinert, the City of Sheboygan Director of Planning and Development, tells SeehaferNews.com that 111 attendees were present for the Comprehensive Plan open houses held last Thursday (March 19th).
The intention behind these open houses was to share information and receive community input on the City’s drafted Comprehensive Plan and Future Land Use Map.
Zeinert also noted, “The City extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who attended and shared their input. Feedback gathered during the open house is currently being incorporated into the draft Comprehensive Plan as staff continues to refine the document.”
When updates are made to the draft, the Planning and Development Department plans on holding a second open house next month to show residents the progress made after receiving their input.
However, a date and time for that event is yet to be determined.
Anyone unable to attend last week’s open houses is encouraged to contact Zeinert by calling 920-459-3383.
