Former students, staff, families, and community members can now share their memories as part of the Manitowoc Public School District’s Madison and Jackson Legacy Celebrations.
Communications Specialist Ruby Gutierrez explains that memory submission forms are now available on each school’s webpage.
Photos, written memories, and short video clips can be sent and will be compiled into a commemorative memory book for each school.
The books will be free of charge, while supplies last, at the Legacy Celebrations. Memorabilia can also be dropped off at each school during office hours for display.
The Madison Elementary School Legacy Celebration takes place on April 25th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Community members will be able to walk the halls of the school as well as see displays and artifacts.
There will also be a program and presentation at 2:00 p.m. in the gym.
The Jackson Elementary School Legacy Celebration will be on May 3rd from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
More information can be found on the elementary school’s website.
