A Columbia County Sheriff’s deputy is under a criminal investigation.
Sheriff Roger Brandner released a statement saying another law enforcement agency executed a search warrant at the deputy’s home on February 27th as part of a probe outside of Columbia County.
No one was arrested, and the investigation stemmed from the improper procurement of prescription medication through internet sources.
The deputy was placed on administrative leave.
