The Friends of Two Rivers SnowFest are asking for participants in their annual parade.
Local businesses, organizations, and members of the public can put in an entry for the parade being held on Saturday, July 26th, at 11:00 a.m.
Any special talents or float creators can be part of the parade, which continues a tradition started in the Cool City in 1937.
Trophies will be awarded to the top two finishers in three categories, including most creative, most entertaining, and best throwback to SnowFest.
Event Organizer Ann Gretz says the parade route will be different this year.
It will start on Garfield Street between 29th and 34th Street and will run down Garfield from 29th to 22nd Street, disbursing onto 22nd Street, near SnowFest at Neshotah Park.
Entry forms must be filled out and returned no later than June 20th.
The week before the parade, participants will receive an information letter with their parade placement, unit number, and a map showing where to line up.
Questions can be directed to Ann Gretz at tworiverssnowfest@gmail.com or by calling 920-973-0362.
