Residents in Sheboygan will have the chance to have their voices heard today (March 19th) regarding upcoming plans in the City.
Sheboygan’s Comprehensive Plan open houses will take place today at Uptown Social, with the first running from noon to 2:00 p.m. and the second going from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The Comprehensive Plan in Sheboygan will outline the City’s vision for the future and develop a long-term, 20-year plan to turn that vision into a reality.
With hopes of gathering extensive community input, the City stated, “The participation and engagement of community members provides a range of viewpoints, local expertise, and a sense of contribution within the planning process. By getting involved, you provide input for decision-makers to establish strategies that can help shape Sheboygan’s future.”
At the open houses, attendees will have the chance to learn more about the plan, pose questions or concerns, and offer potential improvements on the plan’s first draft.
Earlier this month, the City released a draft of the Comprehensive Plan, and residents are encouraged to look it over beforehand to familiarize themselves with what it covers.
