The City of Manitowoc is implementing a downtown parking ban.
It will happen from overnight Tuesday (March 17th) to Wednesday morning (March 18th) from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
The city has put out a list of downtown streets where residents will not be able to park during those times.
Parking is permitted in city parking lots during the parking ban or on other designated streets not included in the ban.
A vehicle parked in the downtown area will receive a $50 ticket.
Maps showing areas where parking is not allowed can be found at manitowoc.org.
They include most major streets downtown, including 8th through 12th Street, Quay, Jay, River Point, and Chicago Streets, among others.
