A local nonprofit is once again looking to help fund community projects in Sheboygan County.
The United Way of Sheboygan County has announced that the application period for its 2026 Innovation Grants is now open.
Each year, the Innovation Grants provide funding to initiatives, including but not limited to launching creative solutions to pressing needs in the community, meeting emerging short-term needs, and addressing urgent, unexpected, or unfulfilled needs across communities.
This year, the United Way’s grant cycle will focus on funding for essential needs such as housing, food, transportation, and other areas.
Regarding this essential funding, the United Way said, “We believe that our community thrives when nonprofits are empowered to innovate. But finding the funding to pilot new ideas, meet emerging needs, or scale successful programs can be a challenge. Our Innovation Grants provide the flexibility to adapt and respond to what our community needs most.”
Those looking to apply for the 2026 Innovation Grants in Sheboygan County can find applications and other important information by visiting uwofsc.org.
Applications are due no later than April 30th.
