The WIAA has announced the matchups for this weekend’s boys state basketball tournament.
Reedsville, after punching their first trip to the big dance in 80 years with a 56-45 win over Tigerton, earned a #1 seed in the Division 5 bracket, and will face off against a fellow Eastern Wisconsin team, Sheboygan Lutheran.
That matchup is scheduled for 9:05 Friday morning at the Kohl Center in Madison.
The winner will either face Prentice or Southwestern on Saturday at 11:05 a.m.
In Division 4, Bonduel earned the top seed and will face Cambridge, while Milwaukee Juneau is set to battle Regis of Eau Claire.
Both of those matches are slated for Thursday night.
In Division 3, which is actually opening up the tournament, Seymour will take on Saint Croix Central, while Lake Mills battles Racine St. Catherine’s.
Division 2 matchups include Slinger vs McFarland, and West Salem against Whitefish Bay.
And in Division 1, De Pere earned the #2 seed and will take on Madison Memorial, while Appleton North, with the #4 seed, is set to battle top-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran.
