The Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers are looking for residents to join their Board of Directors.
The organization aims to promote community awareness in crime prevention, to motivate the general public to cooperate and provide information to all law enforcement agencies, and to provide rewards for such information.
On the right candidates to join the Board, Crime Stoppers said, “We’re looking for folks with graphics/media experience, legal experience, and people who are ‘people people.’ We’re an organization providing a means for citizens to report crime anonymously. Our Board of Directors is made up of citizen volunteers just like you.”
The Board of Directors meets once a month inside the Municipal Courtroom at the Sheboygan Police Department, and interested applicants are required to be available for these meetings.
Applicants must also be at least 18 years of age to be considered for the Board.
Those interested in applying are asked to fill out the questionnaire and mail it to Bill Young at 438 Clement Avenue, Sheboygan, WI, 53083, or email it to president@cuffthem.com.
The questionnaire for the Sheboygan Countywide Crime Stoppers can be found online by visiting cuffthem.com.
