
Local police departments had to help some residents out of the blizzard conditions yesterday.
The Two Rivers Police Department tells Seehafernews.com that they’ve had to help at least seven vehicles out after they got stuck.
There were also some cars that were abandoned on Memorial Drive and were towed away.
Two Rivers officers have also been helping residents get their cars back into their driveways or out of the street.
We have reached out to City of Manitowoc Police and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office to see what issues they’ve been called for due to the blizzard, but have not gotten an answer.
A State of Emergency executive order was signed by Governor Tony Evers, and the Wisconsin DOT has advised against all travel today if possible, for their northeastern division, which includes Manitowoc, Calumet, Kewaunee, and Sheboygan Counties.
