The major snowstorm that hit Manitowoc County yesterday into this morning has caused some issues for highway workers and tow services.
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office implemented a tow ban just before 3:00 yesterday afternoon, citing the safety of officers, highway workers, and tow services.
This means that vehicles that became stuck in the snow would only be towed if directed by law enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
As of 4:00 this morning, the ban has not yet been lifted.
