Several Manitowoc County organizations are teaming up for the next drug takeback day.
The medication collection will be held on Saturday, April 25th, rain or shine, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital.
Residents are welcome to drop off any unused or expired prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, ointments, sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, herbals, and pet medications by entering through the west side main entrance at the hospital on 2300 Western Avenue in Manitowoc between 9:00 a.m. and noon.
All pills should be emptied into a clear, resealable plastic bag prior to drop off. They will not accept biohazardous materials, mercury, household hazardous waste, needles, sharps, batteries, electronics, or personal hygiene products.
This program is a collaborative effort between Froedtert Holy Family Memorial, Healthiest Manitowoc County, Manitowoc County Recycling and Compost, the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, and the Manitowoc Police Department.
