A Janesville man is in custody for a child sex crime case.
The Janesville Police were first notified of a person sending nude images to a child in June 2025. Joseph Cook was arrested during a traffic stop near Reuther Way and Elliot Street on Wednesday.
A search warrant was served at Cook’s home in Janesville, with police finding an additional electronic storage device.
He’s facing multiple charges, including exposing a child to harmful material.
