The man charged with driving his car into a Manitowoc business has entered his plea.
Court records show that 30-year-old Ty J Meyer was back in court last week for his preliminary hearing and arraignment.
At that hearing, Meyer pled not guilty to charges of Felony Possession of THC and OWI with a Child Under 16 in the Vehicle.
These charges stem from an incident that occurred back in December when Meyer drove his vehicle into the American Family Insurance building, causing significant damage.
When Manitowoc Police arrived, they made contact with Meyer, who appeared to be under the influence of something other than alcohol, which he confirmed by admitting that he had taken cough medicine before driving.
They also learned that Meyer’s young child was in the car at the time of the accident.
After entering his pleas, the 30-year-old will now return to court in Manitowoc County on April 10th for further proceedings.
