The 50th annual WIAA Girls State basketball tournament begins at 1:35 p.m. this afternoon at The Resch Center in Ashwaubenon.
Division Three semifinals are up first as undefeated, top-ranked and defending champion Oostburg plays Mosinee, and Kettle Moraine Lutheran battles three-seed Wisconsin Dells.
Division Four semifinals tip at 6:35 p.m. with top seed Neillsville battling four-seed Lomira, followed by Big East North Division champion and last year’s state runners-up St. Mary Catholic, the two-seed playing three-seed Albany/Monticello.
Semifinals in Divisions Five, Two, and One will be played on Friday, with championship games in all five Divisions to be played on Saturday.
