The former Sheboygan Falls Assistant Fire Chief and convicted child sexual abuser appears to be heading towards a plea deal in Manitowoc County.
Court records show that 46-year-old John P. Albright appeared for a scheduling conference yesterday (March 11th) as he faces felony counts of First-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child and Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child.
These charges stem from incidents that are said to have occurred in Manitowoc County back in 1994 and 1997.
Despite previously pleading not guilty to both charges back in January, Albright is scheduled for another plea hearing, which signals a plea deal is on the horizon.
This comes as the 46-year-old is serving 13 years in prison for sexually assaulting a child under the age of 16 in Sheboygan County in 2008, after being sentenced last year.
Following his hearing yesterday, Albright will return to court in Manitowoc County on May 19th for a plea hearing.
