The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to investigate a deadly vehicle crash.
According to reports, a pedestrian wearing dark clothing and walking in a traffic lane was hit Monday night on State Highway 53.
The victim was later declared dead at a local hospital.
The motorist involved is cooperating with the investigation.
