A weekend stabbing in Fond du Lac left a man in the hospital and a woman in handcuffs.
Fond du Lac Police were dispatched to the 100 block of West 1st Street at 2:45 Saturday afternoon (March 7th) on a report of an attack involving a knife.
They arrived to find a 50-year-old man with a single stab wound to the arm. The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A 48-year-old woman believed to be the assailant was quickly located and arrested on charges of Disorderly Conduct while Armed with a Dangerous Weapon, Substantial Battery, and 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety, all with Domestic Violence tags.
The exact relationship between the victim and the suspect has not been announced, but the investigative team did indicate that they are known to each other and previously lived together.
