The WIAA has announced host sites for this week’s sectional round of the boys’ basketball tournament.
In Division Four, Roncalli will play Howards Grove Thursday night at Chilton, with the winner to play either Cedar Grove, Belgium, or Milwaukee Juneau Saturday at Hartford Union. Also, in Division Four, Thursday night, Kewaunee plays Bonduel at Kaukauna, with the winner to play Marathon or Hurley at D.C. Everest Saturday.
In Division Five, Reedsville battles Big East North Division foe Elkhart Lake/ Glenbeulah at Menasha Thursday night, with the winner to face Tigerton or Wabeno/ Laona Saturday at Oconto Falls.
In Division Three Thursday night, Brillion meets Xavier (Appleton) at Oshkosh North, with the winner to meet Freedom or Seymour on Saturday at Neenah. Also, Oostburg meets Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Wednesday night at Germantown.
Other Thursday night matchups include in Division Two, Notre Dame (Green Bay) meeting FRCC foe West De Pere at JFK Fieldhouse in Manitowoc, and in Division One, De Pere meets Germantown at Sheboygan North, Neenah and Kaukauna play at Kimberly, Appleton North meets Marshfield at Stevens Point, and Oshkosh North hooks up with Brookfield East at Hartford Union. All sectional semifinals on Wednesday and Thursday night start at 7 p.m., with sectional finals starting times on Saturday to be announced later this week by the WIAA.
