
Individual Competition was held Saturday at the WIAA State Girls Gymnastics Meet Saturday in Wisconsin Rapids.
In Division Two, senior Claire Sieracki of Valders/ Roncalli placed sixth on the balance beam and finished 19th in the all-around competition, placing 19th on the uneven parallel bars, 22nd on vault, and 24th on the floor exercise. Teammate, senior Addison Spindler, finished 26th on uneven parallel bars.
In Division One, Manitowoc Lincoln senior Khloe Jalbert placed 20th on the balance beam.
Meanwhile, Cedar Grove /Belgium just fell short in their quest for a Division Three state title, losing to Aquinas of La Crosse 38 to 32 in the championship match held Saturday at the LaCrosse Center. The Rockets finish their season with a record of 15-2.
In Division One, Bayport lost in the semifinals to Holmen 37 to 34, and Kaukauna defeated BRown Deer Co-op 68 to 12 and would go on to post a 31 to 26 victory over Holmen to capture the Division One state championship.
Evansville won the Division Two title, defeating Coleman 39 to 29.
