Shady Lane is inviting the public to an event focused on funding assisted living care.
“Bridging the Gap: Public Funding for Assisted Living Care” will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at the campus located at 1235 S. 24th Street in Manitowoc.
Lori Edwards, Information and Assistance Specialist from the Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of the Lakeshore, will be on hand to provide valuable information about financial resources that may help individuals and families pay for assisted living care.
During the presentation, attendees will learn about available public programs, how Medicaid works in relation to assisted living, the application process, and where to turn for guidance when planning for long-term care needs.
The session is designed to help families better understand their options and navigate what can often feel like a complicated system.
The event is free and open to the public, and community members, caregivers, and families exploring senior living options are encouraged to attend.
