A local organization is providing support to Hope House in Manitowoc.
The Manitowoc Sunrise Rotary contributed over $2,000 for families who, after receiving assistance, were able to move into their own homes.
They also donated 12 Pack N Plays equipped with sheets and diapers, along with laundry detergent, toilet paper, acrylic unbreakable bowls, paper towels, and baby wipes.
Sunrise Rotary President Peggy Kadow says their group is committed to “providing support for children’s education, safety, and for community needs/improvements. This is a sample of what we work for and where our profits go.”
The announcement says that Hope House offered shelter to 80 individuals, including 30 adults and 50 children.
On average, individuals stayed at the shelter for 92 days.
