
Lakeland University has made a major announcement regarding its 164th commencement ceremony this spring.
Lakeland has shared the names of the three individuals who will be speaking during the ceremonies, which are slated to take place on Saturday, May 9th.
For the master’s degree ceremony, which begins at 10:00 a.m., the speaker will be Tom Farley, the Community Outreach Director for Recovery.com, and the brother of the late comedian, Chris Farley.
The Non-traditional student undergraduate ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., featuring speakers Dr. David Black, Lakeland University president emeritus, and Jane Parke Batten, a philanthropist and civic leader.
At 4:00 p.m., the traditional student undergraduate ceremony will have Virginia Wesleyan University President Dr. Scott Miller as speaker to round out the day.
