One person is critically injured after a double shooting inside Aurora Sinai Hospital.
Officers were called to the hospital around 2:15 Monday morning.
Two victims were shot, with one being treated for life-threatening injuries.
Aurora Health Care released a statement saying the medical center is remaining open to the public following the shooting, saying “care is being provided for those affected, and there is no ongoing risk to the public.”
The suspect was taken into custody, but authorities are working to figure out what led up to the violence.
