An annual fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Lakeside has set a new record.
The Raise the Roof fundraiser held on February 6th drew nearly 300 guests to The Village at 170 in Kohler and raised just shy of $75,000.
Both of those figures are new record highs for the organization.
Executive Director Le’Shay Guy voiced his appreciation, saying “Thank you to everyone who helped us achieve our gala goals with their monetary and in-kind donations, sponsorships, and participation in evening’s fundraising events. There are simply no words to describe the Sheboygan community’s enthusiastic support of our work and our mission.”
All of the funds raised are going to support affordable housing and home repairs in Sheboygan County.
Raise the Roof 2027 is set for Friday, February 5th, again at the Village at 170.
