The chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party is criticizing President Trump’s State of the Union Address.
Devin Remiker issued a statement after Tuesday’s speech, describing it as “doubling down on the same broken policies that have fueled” an affordability crisis.
The Two Rivers native pointed to the rising costs of groceries and health insurance, adding the state and country “cannot take another two years” of Trump in the White House.
On the other side, Wisconsin GOP Chair Brian Schimming praised Trump, saying he continues to fight for Wisconsin families.
Schimming claimed Trump “showcased the concrete results he’s delivered” during his second term in office.
