The City of Two Rivers has announced its next director of tourism.
Caitlyn Meola will take over for Joe Metzen and will oversee strategic marketing initiatives, partnerships with local businesses and organizations, event promotion, and long-term destination development efforts.
City Manager Kyle Kordell explains that Meola’s focus will include strengthening Two Rivers’ brand, expanding visitor engagement, and supporting sustainable tourism growth that enhances residents’ quality of life.
Meola says that the Cool City is more than a destination to her and that it “represents family, hard work, and community pride. I have seen the power of tourism not just as a marketing strategy, but as a way to bring people together and strengthen our local economy.”
Kordell says the city is thrilled to welcome Caitlyn as the next leader of Explore Two Rivers, saying that through her work at Sepia Chapel, she has already demonstrated a strong ability to bring visitors to the community.
