The second suspect has been sentenced for a 2023 shooting in Green Bay.
FOX11 reports that 19-year-old Vance Degeneffe was found guilty due to no contest pleas on charges of 1st Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Possession of a Firearm in the Delinquency of a Felony, and was ordered by Judge Samantha Wagner to spend five years in prison followed by five years on extended supervision.
The charges stem from an incident on June 9th, 2023. Degeneffe and Myles Schinke, who were 16 and 17 years old at the time, fired at a home on North Broadway, seemingly targeting a 17-year-old boy.
The target was not actually in the home at the time, but a 45-year-old woman, a 38-year-old man, and an 11-year-old girl were.
None of them was injured in the incident.
Schinke was previously convicted and sentenced to four years in prison for his role.
