More housing could be coming to the River Point District in Manitowoc.
The Common Council approved allowing Radue Homes Inc. to purchase land with the intention of building single-family, multi-family, and mixed-use housing.
Specifically, they would create a condominium project with 20 residential units and one commercial component very similar to a previous River Landing project.
City documents from Community Development Director Adam Tegan show that a tentative closing date is in July, while there is also a request for access to EPA grant funds to complete required environmental reports.
A vacant land offer shows that the parcels were purchased for $56,000.
The condos would be located farther north of the Rivers Point Apartments.
