An initial appearance has been set for a Two Rivers man charged with sexually assaulting a young child.
27-year-old Andrew J. Mueller was given a $5,000 cash bail by Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch on Monday (February 16th).
Mueller has been charged with two felony counts of Second-Degree Sexual Assault of a Child linked to incidents that occurred on November 20th and December 23rd of last year.
At this time, very few details regarding the case are available, however, court documents show that the victim was just 13 years old at the time of both incidents.
At his bail hearing, Commissioner Scharenbroch also ordered the 27-year-old to have no contact with the 13-year-old victim or anyone under the age of 18.
Mueller will now return to Manitowoc County court on Monday (February 23rd) for his initial appearance in front of Judge Robert Dewayne at 1:30 p.m. in Branch 3.
