Numerous fire departments were called into action yesterday after a garage caught fire in the Village of Waldo.
WHBL reports that the Sheboygan County Emergency Communications Center received several calls reporting the fire at around 11:30 a.m.
Fire teams from around the area converged on the residence on Mulberry Drive, with the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office first on the scene.
They noted that the garage was fully engulfed in flames, and the fire was spreading to the home.
Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control, but the extent of the damage was not released.
No one was home at the time, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
