Eastern Wisconsin motorists are seeing vastly different changes in their local gas prices depending on which county they call home.
Over the past two weeks, Manitowoc County has stayed pretty steady, only dipping one penny per gallon of regular unleaded fuel to an average of $2.56, as reported on the AAA Gas Prices website.
However, Sheboygan County saw a five-cent jump over that same time to $2.57.
Continuing the roller coaster, Calumet County fuel is six cents less expensive with an average of $2.54, with Outagamie County’s average also dipping three cents per gallon to $2.51.
Brown County saw a modest increase of two cents per gallon to $2.57, while Kewaunee and Door Counties tied for the largest increase over the past two weeks.
Both counties saw a ten-cent bump to $2.64 and $2.73 per gallon, respectively.
The state average only rose by a penny to $2.54, while the national average jumped four cents over the past two weeks to $2.92, the highest it has been since the second week of December.
