A Manitowoc man has been bound over for trial in two cases that date back to 2024.
23-year-old Jonathan Gallegos was back in a Manitowoc County Courtroom last Thursday (February 12th) for two cases in which he faces multiple charges.
Gallegos entered not guilty pleas in both cases and will be back in court on May 12th for a scheduling conference.
In the first case, Gallegos is charged with fleeing and eluding an officer, battery, disorderly conduct, and bail jumping after allegedly pointing a gun at students near S. 12th and Hamilton Streets in 2024.
He also allegedly punched one of the victims in the face multiple times after a car he was driving came to a rest.
A second case has him facing charges of strangulation and suffocation, child abuse, and more bail jumping charges after he was arrested in January last year for an argument that turned physical.
He allegedly fled from the home after the incident, but was later arrested again.
