
Michael E. Angoli passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026, at age 82. Mike was born and raised in Manitowoc and served as a Marine overseas during the Vietnam era. He lived in Francis Creek for the last 55 years where he raised his family, served as a volunteer fire fighter, and founded French Creek Estates with his wife Anne. Mike worked at Brillion Ironworks and then was a Building Inspector for different municipalities. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan but also loved all the Wisconsin sports teams.
Mike is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anne (Wedel)[pronounced Wed-dell, with the accent on dell]; children Michael D. (Ruth) Angoli, Mark C. Angoli, and Anne Marie (Michael) Enright; siblings Jo Ann (Dale) Drake, Jean Ray, Joyce Weisman, Marilyn Angoli, William (Susan) Angoli, and Gerald (Patricia) Angoli; as well as nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl A. and Cleo M. Angoli; and siblings Carl “Tony” Angoli and Julie Corcoran.
Visitation will be held at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, on Monday, February 16, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon will follow at Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, just to the south of the funeral home. Private burial at St. Anne Catholic Cemetery in Francis Creek.
