An Arizona man will be heading to prison as part of a historic fentanyl seizure last year.
35-year-old Trevor Hock was inside a Manitowoc County courtroom yesterday (February 10th) for his sentencing hearing after being found guilty of Manufacturing or Delivering over 50 Grams of Fentanyl last year.
At yesterday’s hearing, Judge Jerilyn Dietz ordered Hock to spend 15 years behind bars, followed by 10 years on extended supervision.
Trevor Hock, Dylan Hock, and Jose Gamez were arrested in January of 2025 after a search of their vehicle uncovered 43.2 pounds of fentanyl, worth an estimated $5.8 million.
This historic seizure of fentanyl pills has been considered the largest such drug bust in Wisconsin’s history.
The monumental operation was led by the Manitowoc County Metro Drug Unit and the DEA’s Green Bay Resident Office, with help from the Sheboygan Drug Task Force and Wisconsin State Patrol.
After the arrests were made, Manitowoc County Sheriff Dan Hartwig praised all involved, saying, “This interdiction effort demonstrates the strong collaboration between local and state law enforcement agencies. Our shared commitment to proactive drug enforcement continues to improve public safety and protect the residents of Manitowoc County.”
Dylan Hock has since been sentenced to 10 years in prison, while Gamez is still making his way through the legal system with a status conference set for March 11th.
