The Chamber of Manitowoc County is preparing businesses in case the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) shows up at their doors.
The Chamber’s Safety, Health, and Wellness Committee will host a class called OSHA Benefits and Preparing for an OSHA Audit on Tuesday, February 24th, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Orion Energy Systems in Manitowoc.
The event will feature a presentation by Oshkosh Defense Director of Safety Jacob Schueller, who will discuss the company’s experiences with OSHA during compliance and various audits.
Schueller will explain to attendees that the process is “a journey and does not happen overnight or alone.”
Following his presentation, there will be an open discussion led by Schueler and Client Executive Pete Dewar from M3 Insurance.
The event is specifically for Chamber members who can get in for free.
