Bail has been set for a Manitowoc woman after she was caught stealing from a local store.
41-year-old Amy Jelinek was given a $1,000 personal recognizance bond by Manitowoc County Court Commissioner Jewel Scharenbroch yesterday (February 9th) on charges of Retail Theft, Felony Bail Jumping, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
These charges stem from an incident that occurred this past weekend after officers with the Two Rivers Police Department were called to the Dollar General on Forrest Avenue.
Employees told officers that they witnessed the 41-year-old take $46 worth of merchandise without paying.
Jelinek was later tracked down by authorities and arrested.
Additional terms of her bond include no contact with the Two Rivers Dollar General.
Jelinek will now return to Manitowoc County court on March 2nd for her initial appearance.
