Registration is now open for one of Ascend Services’ biggest fundraising events of the year.
The 7th Annual Throw With All Your Heart Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, April 11th, at Tapped on the Lakeshore in Two Rivers, with all money raised going back to their cause.
Executive Director Deanna Genske explains that there will again be five head-to-head competitions, including the classic Axe Throwing, Golf, Hammerschlagen, Shuffleboard, and Cornhole.
As always, the day will also feature a celebrity axe-throwing competition with seven local celebrities.
Attendees can challenge any celebrity for five dollars and a chance to win bragging rights.
Celebrities can also compete by bringing in the most dollars from their turn to win a special prize.
Genske also announced the return of a silent auction featuring various baskets and larger-ticket items, plus a wine pull.
She praised Tapped on the Lakeshore for being a great partner for the event, saying, “Tapped welcomes us back every year, and we are thankful for their generosity; we could not continue to do this without their help and support.”
It costs $100 for a team of four and will include four food and drink tokens.
