The longtime Manitowoc County Commissioner has retired after nearly 30 years.
Patrica Koppa was appointed the Register in Probate/Court Commissioner in March of 1997 after first serving as a lawyer from 1985 to 1997.
She ran for County Judge in 2017, falling by 1,000 votes to Robert Dewane.
According to her LinkedIn page, she has also contributed to the Manitowoc Community by volunteering with the Girl Scouts of Manitou Council since 1996, and with EAA since 1978.
Taking over the role is now Jewel Scharenbroch, who has been a lawyer in Manitowoc for the past 16 years.
