
A Green Bay man has been convicted in a federal Fentanyl trafficking case.
A federal jury found 29-year-old Ricky Q. Chambers guilty on charges of Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl and Distribution of Fentanyl after less than 15 minutes of deliberation.
Chambers frequently visited Phoenix, Arizona, where he purchased large quantities of fentanyl in pill form, which he would deliver to various cities throughout the Midwest, including Green Bay.
On July 25th of 2024, Minneapolis law enforcement intercepted a package sent by Chambers containing more than 55,000 fentanyl pills, leading to his arrest.
Chambers is one of eight defendants convicted as part of the case, which resulted in the seizure of over 175,000 fentanyl pills.
The remaining defendants charged in the case pleaded guilty.
The case was investigated by the Brown County Drug Task Force, the Dakota County (Minnesota) Drug Task Force, the MSP Airport Police Department, the DEA – Green Bay Resident Office and Phoenix Division, and the FBI.
