The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is telling the story about one of the worst maritime catastrophes in the Great Lakes.
It’s part of February’s Think and Drink, which takes place tonight at 6:30 p.m. with the doors opening at 6:00 p.m.
The speaker will be M. Paul Hollander, the author of the book Lost Lady: The Lady Elgin Tragedy.
Hollander will detail the 1860 wreck of the Lady Elgin in a 90-minute presentation, also discussing his personal connection to the tragedy.
This event is part of this year’s Wisconsin Maritime Museum’s Think and Drink theme, “catastrophes.”
As always, admission for the event is free and open to the public, with refreshments available for purchase.
