There are five Manitowoc County governmental meetings scheduled for today (February 4th), four of which are for Expo-Ice Center Board sub-committees.
The Finance Sub-committee is up first, convening in the Expo Office at 5:30 p.m., where they will elect their 2026 slate of officers before reviewing the fair budget.
In fact, all of the subcommittees will be electing officers at their meetings.
At 5:45 p.m., the Entertainment and Vendor Sub-committee will discuss the modified truck and tractor pull event and will get updates from several working groups.
The Operations Sub-Committee will take over the Expo Office at 6:00 p.m. to review a 4-H Silent Auction request and other working group updates.
The Marketing and Advertising Sub-Committee will gather at 6:30 p.m. to discuss an app for the fair, the advertising and media budget, and to get the latest on Fairest of the Fair.
Closing out the evening will be the full Expo and Ice Center Board, which will review all of these topics and others related to the 2026 Fair and the fairgrounds.
