A man shot by Brookfield police is being linked to drive-by shootings in the Waukesha area.
It was Saturday night when the suspect was involved in a car crash and fled the scene, later ending with the man being shot by police and taken to the hospital.
Investigators now say evidence collected at the Brookfield scene, including the suspect’s gun, links the suspect to a pair of drive-by shootings in Waukesha on January 24th.
Police aren’t sure how the suspect crashed his car on Saturday.
He remains in the hospital and was last listed in critical, but stable condition.
