The City of Sheboygan is seeking residents in need of repairs to their homes.
The City has opened applications for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Housing Rehab program.
In order to be eligible for the program, an applicant must live in their home within the city, be current on their property taxes and mortgage, and have a gross household income at or below 80% of the county median income.
Sheboyganites who own a home that is in need of repairs to make their living space safe, sanitary, or more accessible are encouraged to apply.
Money for this program comes from federal funding through the CDBG, which is designated to help support housing and public service needs in low to moderate-income areas.
Those interested in applying or learning more about the Housing Rehab program can do so by contacting MaLeena Xiong with the City’s Planning and Development Department by calling 920-459-3380 or via email at maleena.xiong@sheboyganwi.gov.
