A group of police cadets performed well at a recent conference.
Two Rivers Police Cadet Unit #9579 participated in the WLEEAA State Conference in the Wisconsin Dells and competed in different scenarios against 36 other teams representing 18 different agencies from around the state.
They included vehicle contacts, incident command, search warrant, active threat response, force options, airsoft, and a law test.
After their work, the Two Rivers Cadets placed 5th in the Search Warrant Scenario.
School Resource Officer Briana Propson explains that the team is very new and has only been training for 2 months before the conference.
However, despite being new, she said the team, “did a great job jumping right into the scenarios and working through them (the scenarios).”
Propson finished by congratulating the guys, saying TRPD is super proud of what they did.
