A Green Bay woman has been arrested for allegedly stealing over $2,700 in liquor from various Brown County stores.
44-year-old Mattea McQuisten was charged with six counts of Retail Theft and one count each of Obstruction and Eluding an Officer after the five-day theft spree.
FOX11 reports that it all started on January 16th, when McQuisten allegedly stole nearly $520 worth of alcohol from the HyVee in Ashwaubenon.
She then went to the Meijer store in Howard three times between January 17th and 21st, taking a combined total of just shy of $1,900 worth of liquor.
January 17th was a busy day for McQuisten, as she also allegedly stole a $150 bottle of 15-year-old scotch from Neo’s Discount Tobacco & Liquor on that day, and took another $150 bottle from Ridgeview Liquor in Ashwaubenon on January 20th.
She was eventually arrested late last week after she allegedly gave police a false name before finally identifying herself.
McQuisten was scheduled to appear for her initial appearance yesterday.
