
There are three meetings scheduled for today (February 2nd) in the City of Two Rivers.
Up first is the Committee on Aging, which will be in the Senior Center Library at 8:30 this morning.
They will hear input from the public before getting their usual monthly reports.
Then, at 5:00 p.m., the Public Utilities Committee will be in the Committee Room in City Hall, where they will also get input from the public.
Then, they will review contracts for lead service lateral replacements and improvements to the water system before getting an update on the electric service manual.
Closing out the day will be the City Council, which is set to convene in the Council Chambers at 6:00 p.m.
They will be holding public hearings on a rezoning request submitted by Renew Church and a proposed ordinance to amend the section of the municipal code related to the height of fences.
Then, they will vote on the new property assessment policy for the city and a resolution to authorize and issue the sale of up to just over $1.8 million in sewerage system bonds.
